Kevin P. "Bacon" Beron

Kevin P. “Bacon” Beron, 60 of Onalaska, Wis. passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 23, 2018. He was born in Sparta, Wis. on October 31, 1958 to James R. and Charlene J. (Everson) Beron. Kevin married Lori Hesselberg and they later divorced.

Kevin was a loving father and devoted husband who was adored by all who came in contact with him. He spent his days enjoying his lively social life be it bartending at Our Corner Bar or making an appearance at Bingo on Tuesdays. Kevin is remembered for his strong work ethic, infectious laughter and for the love he felt for those close to him. An extremely giving man, it was well known that Kevin would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Even on his last day he donated plasma to those in need. A veteran himself, Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Army and continued to be an active participant in the lives of those who served post duty. Kevin loved his friends entirely, his family wholeheartedly and he loved his wife with every fiber of his being.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Beron of Onalaska, two sons, Kyle (Pam) Beron of Waunakee, Wis., Jacob Beron of Sparta, step children Brandon, Cheyanne and Colton; granddaughter Grace, siblings Rick (Judy Koopman) of Rockland, Wis. Tim (Kathy) Beron of Rockland, Terry (Lisa) Beron of Sparta, Jennifer (James) Lockman of Bangor, Wis., and many beloved friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Alec and brothers in law Scott and Kenneth.

Memorial services will be held at 6pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in La Crescent. Pastor Michael Woods will officiate. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Friends may call on the family Friday afternoon at the church from 3pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
