Keven Frank Witt

Keven Frank Witt, 59, of La Crosse and formerly of Dakota, MN, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at his home. He was born December 26, 1962, in La Crosse to Wayne W. and Sharon L. (Boettcher) Witt. Keven served in The United States Navy as a Seabee for four years. Keven was an ASE certified diesel mechanic and heavy-duty equipment mechanic, working for the family business with his father Wayne for many years. He had also worked for a few years at Ruan in Arcadia, WI and after Ruan for the La Crosse Truck Center-Mack in La Crosse. After he was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, he spent the remaining years doing some scrap work until he was no longer able. Keven was always known as the guy that never wore shoes. It could be 30 degrees below zero and he was either barefoot or had sandals on. Keven was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Sharon Witt. He is survived by his two sons, Vincent (Crystal Strelow) Witt and Steven Witt; his brothers and sisters, Tammy (David) Irvine, Wendell (Amanda) Witt, JoDee (Russell) Brown, Jerod (Heather) Witt and David (Alycia) Witt. A Celebration of Life for Keven will be held from 2-5 P.M. on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Community Center in Dakota, MN.
