Kenneth “Kenny” P. Nedvidek, 89, of Holmen, WI passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 12th. He was the youngest of 6 children born to John and Agnes Nedvidek of La Crosse, WI.
Ken is survived by his brother Rudy Nedvidek of La Crosse. his sons Dean and John, daughter Jolyn (Dave) Oelfke, granddaughter, Hilary (Chris) Nedvidek-Nolan and 3 great-grandchildren, Eliza, Agnes and Rory of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine (Krause).
Ken was a proud member of the local Laborers Union 140 where he joined in 1959. In 1966 Ken and Geraldine bought the farm north of Holmen where he raised beef cattle until his death. Ken was a founding member of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Holmen.
Memorials in Ken’s name can be made to NASA (North American Squirrel Association) providing physically challenged and elderly members of our community with outdoor opportunities such as hunting and fishing at NASA, P.O. Box 186, Holmen, WI.
Please join us for an 11:00 Mass Friday, February 23rd at St. Elizabeth's Church, 515 N Main St, in Holmen, with a lunch to follow in the gathering hall.
