Kenneth Joseph Hundt

November 30, 1944 — February 22, 2022

Kenneth Joseph Hundt, 77 of St. Joseph Ridge, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born in La Crosse on November 30, 1944, to Clarence and Alice (Lang) Hundt and graduated from West Salem High School in 1963.

On July 14, 1973, he married Ardella Elsen, daughter of Everette and Martha Elsen. Kenny was a hard-working farmer on St. Joseph Ridge his entire life where he raised both dairy and beef cattle. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his many friends. Kenny loved spending time with his five grandchildren. He also enjoyed his Massey Ferguson and Allis-Chalmers tractors.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ardella; three sons, Lee (Jenny) Hundt, Ronald Hundt and John (Megan) Hundt; five grandchildren, Allison, Carson, Parker, Nathan, and Bella; a brother, Roger Hundt and a brother-in-law, Al Mielke, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Judy Proksch, Linda Taylor and Debbie Mielke; a brother, Steve Hundt and his parents-in-law.

Kenny’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Mayo Hospice nurses for their excellent care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 15 th , at Fox Hollow Banquet Hall in Barre Mills.
