Katherine "Kathy" Anderson

Katherine A. “Kathy” Anderson, 48 of La Crosse, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born June 26, 1970 in Chicago to Carl and Mildred (Owens) Anderson, Sr. Kathy attended Holy Angels Catholic School and Carver High School and worked as a beautician while in Chicago. She moved to La Crosse in 2000 where she worked at the Company Store.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, classic television programs and game shows. She enjoyed cooking, having her hair styled and being pampered.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Butch Lorenz of La Crosse; eight children, Stephanie Henry and Denzel Henry both of Green Bay, Ann Lorenz, Billy Lorenz, Bobby Lorenz and Katrina Lorenz all of La Crosse, Kimberly Lorenz of Galesville, WI and Jeff Lorenz of Sparta; her mother, Mildred Anderson of Green Bay; 17 grandchildren, Jayden, Shyann, Josh, Indigo, Ivy, Jazmyn, Heaven, Journey, Rio, Orion, Keanu, Lemon, Jake, Easton, Cassidy, Athelia and Leo; a sister, Tennille Anderson of Chicago; a brother, Jason Hawk of Chicago; an uncle, James Curtis Warren of Chicago; an aunt, Muriel (Jerry) Walker of Chicago; cousins, Gerald and Daryl Walker; nieces and nephews, Vance (Karen) Anderson, Sharon Anderson and Jaylen Hawk. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Anderson, Sr.; a brother, Carl Anderson, Jr. along with grandparents, Annie Ruth and Charles Owens and William and Evelyn Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday; July 27 ^th at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse with Pastor Park Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
