Judy Ann Gray

Judy A. Gray, 78 of Onalaska, Wis., died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Hillview Health Care in La Crosse.  She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 11, 1939 to Carl and Ruth (Harmer) Horner. Judy graduated from Walled Lake High School in Walled Lake, Michigan in 1957 and Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Education in 1961. On August 26, 1961 she married Robert R. Gray in Wixom, MI. With her deep love of children; Judy taught for many years in both the private and public sector. She enjoyed working with crafts and had a love for traditional Jazz music. She and her husband Bob would often travel to jazz festivals.

In addition to her husband Bob of Onalaska, she is survived by one son G. Scott (Dawn) Gray of Indianapolis, Ind., six grandchildren; Declan, Brandon, Megan, Rachel, Katie and Emilee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Kerry and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services Onalaska chapel; 907 Sand Lake Rd. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 8pm. and again on Tuesday from 10am until the time of services. The family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Health Care Center for their compassionate care during her stay.
