Judith "Judy" T. Seekamp

Judith T. “Judy” Seekamp, 62, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born on January 17, 1959 in La Crosse to Walter and Joan (Zeimentz) Blenka. Judy enjoyed going to the family cottage while she was growing up. Judy met her soulmate, Dennis Seekamp, when they both worked at Duratech. They were married on July 6, 1998, and after their wedding they went bowling. Judy enjoyed fishing with Dennis, going on walks, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. She looked forward to her weekly outings with her sisters, going to Robin’s Nest, and always made a point to call her siblings on every holiday and birthday.

She is survived by her husband Dennis, a daughter Samantha (Shay) McReynolds, a stepdaughter Michelle (Peter) Colangelo, Justin McCormick who was like a son to her, six grandsons, Noah, Nathaniel, Jeff Jr., Garrett, Louden, and Morgan, her siblings, Sue (Mike) Johnston, Nancy Schermerhorn, Alan (Sue) Blenka, Kathy Bahr, and Tom (Wanda) Blenka, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Mike, a nephew Eric Schermerhorn, her father and mother-in-law, Orville and Loretta Seekamp, and two brothers-in-law, Bill Bahr and Rick Schermerhorn.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:30 -6:30 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 PM.
