Joyce Ann Warnecke

Joyce Ann Warnecke, 60, of Holmen, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born on August 3, 1957 in La Crosse to Adolph and Beverly (Niedfeldt) Kriesche. Joyce had worked at Gundersen Health System for over 23 years, which is where she met her husband John who also worked there. She then worked for Torrance Casting in Onalaska and then for 15 years at Northern Engraving in Holmen, also with her husband John. Joyce was a two-year survivor of pancreatic cancer. She loved gardening, her flower beds, putting together puzzles, sudoku, and taking sunset cruises. She also loved her animals.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John, three sons, Johnny (Allison), Joshua (Kayla), and Jerry, a sister Linda (Chuck) Brigson, and nieces and nephews, Matt (Jen) Brigson, Chris (Ashley) Brigson and their son Parker, and Nick (Katie) Bjerke and their children Beverly and Wesley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra (Ken) Bjerke and a sister Ilene Gruntzel.
