John N. "Jack" Mckee

John N. “Jack” McKee, 89, of La Crosse, WI., died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 30, 2021. Jack was born in Cashton, WI., on October 30, 1931 to John R. and Jenny (Klinkner) McKee. He married Elaine M. Meseberg on January 12, 1953..

Jack went to Cashton high school where he excelled in athletics and graduated in 1949. After high school he met his wife Elaine whom he was married to for 68 years. Together they raised their children in Greendale Wi. Jack and Elaine enjoyed traveling, cruises, Hawaii and eventually became Florida snowbirds and finally settled in La Crosse.

Jack will be remembered for his smile, laugh, that magnificent green lawn, his passion for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs, and his amazing craftsmanship. Jack always liked to make a joke that brought smiles to everyone’s faces, he was a light and joy to everyone he met. Jack had a deep faith and commitment to the catholic church which is an inspiration. He was loved by so many, especially by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife Elaine and 4 children; David (Denise) McKee, Thomas (Mailin) Mckee, Deborah (Dale) Malmstrom, Richard McKee, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter Kathy McKee.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, La Crosse. Rev. Brian Konopa will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call on the family at the church on Friday from 9:30 until the time of services. The funeral will be livestreamed on our Facebook link.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to Pancreatic Cancer (www.pancan.org), Mary Mother of the Church Parish, or St Judes.
