Jesse James (Virock) Graves, 43, of Hokah, MN, died peacefully in the arms of his true love while surrounded by his family on September 14, 2017, after a strong two year long battle with a brain tumor. Jesse was born in Winona, MN, on September 29, 1973, to Joyce Graves and Shawn Virock. Jesse worked for many years as an electrician at City Brewery, La Crosse, WI.
Jesse will be remembered for his big smile, his big beard, and, most of all, his big heart. Jesse loved spending time with his strong and loving fiancée, Toni, and their families and many friends. Jesse's true pride and joy was his three boys: Dylan, Levi, and Jakodi, whom he loved deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his boys sharing his love of the great outdoors, having fun on the river, and watching the Minnesota Vikings. Jesse was an awesome dad.
Jesse was humorous, generous, selfless. He was a Great Dad, a Great Son, a Great Brother, a Great Friend, a Great Man, and he will be missed greatly by a great many.
Jesse is survived by his three sons, Dylan and Levi Graves, Hokah, MN, and Jakodi Graves, Moorhead, MN; his fiancée, Toni Feran, and her children Riley, Brandon and Isabel Von Arx, Hokah, MN; his parents: Joyce Graves, Hokah, MN, and Shawn and Terri Virock, Brownsville, MN; his two brothers Ben Virock and Jeremy Virock, Brownsville, MN; his nephew Sean Virock, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless close friends. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
