Jefferson B. Gallaher

Jefferson B. Gallaher, 94, of Black River Falls, WI passed away on September 9, 2024 at Meadowbrook Senior Living. He was born on December 26, 1929 in Fort Laramie, WY to Vergil and Mildred (Mosner) Gallaher. Jefferson served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1966 during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a reactor operator on the U.S.S. Enterprise. He worked at La Crosse Boiler and Water Reactor for 21 years. He is survived by four sons Daniel, Andrew, Kevin and Greg, along with an Aunt Kathy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie and a brother Jim. 

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Christ Episcopal Church, 111 9th St. N., La Crosse. Rector Mike McElwee and Pastor Kenneth Jordan will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:30 AM until the time of service.
