Jean Marie Zahn

Jean Marie (Boisen) Zahn, 89, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse. She was born December 15, 1934 to the late Leslie and Alice (Iverson) Boisen.

Jean graduated from Aquinas High School in 1953. She married Victor (Ackie) Zahn on September 12th, 1953 of that same year at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. On June 22, 1954 Jean and Victor welcomed their daughter Vicki Jean. Jean enjoyed many things crocheting, reading, and working on word puzzles. Her love of Elvis and Penguins was apparent in her home decor. She loved spending with her family and friends, especially her "Cousin parties". She also loved being entertained by her energetic great-granddaughters who loved to sing and dance and make her laugh.

She was preceded in death by parents Leslie and Alice (Iverson) Boisen; her brother Alan; her husband Victor Zahn; and her son-in-law Randall Larson. Jean is survived by her daughter Vicki Larson; her granddaughter Jessica (Tim) Corbin; her great-granddaughters Madalyn and Olivia Corbin; her sisters Julie (John) Parsneau and Pat (Bill) Torgerud; and her brother Jim (Margie Walker) Boisen.

A scripture service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at Holy Trinity Church, 1333 13th St. S, La Crosse WI, with Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
