Jean A. Flottmeyer, 73, of La Crosse, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in her home. She was born on April 8, 1944 in Genoa, Wisconsin to Albert and Helen (Venner) Pedretti. She graduated from Holmen High School in 1962. On September 3, 1966 she married David Flottmeyer in Onalaska, WI. Jean was a full- time mom who loved her family very much. Her many hobbies included geneology, ceramics and pilgrimages to Medjugorje. Jean had a strong devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus, and often attended daily Mass.
She is survived by her children Tony Flottmeyer of La Crosse, Mark (Laura) Flottmeyer of La Crosse, Judy (Allan) Swift of Holmen and John (Darci) Flottmeyer of Rochester, MN, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two sisters Lucille Pedretti of Onalaska and Rita Llorca of Beloit, WI, four brothers Fr. Raymond Pedretti of Onalaska, Fr. Robert Pedretti of Amherst, WI, Earl (Ruth) Pedretti of Onalaska and Dennis (Kathy) Pedretti of Galesville, along with several In-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Peter Raj will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., on Sunday from 2-4 PM where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM and again at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of service.Monday, September 11, 2017
