Jean Ann Every

Jean Ann Every, 79, of Onalaska, died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born on September 4, 1938 in La Crosse to Arthur and Hazel (Harnisch) Remus. Jean attended Central High School. She married Arnold “Arnie” Every on September 6, 1958 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Jean enjoyed gardening, camping, playing cards, and was an avid bowler. She was a wonderful cook and very meticulous about cleaning. She had worked at numerous jobs including banquet serving and at the La Crosse Airport.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Laurie) Every of Onalaska and their children, Connor Every, Danny (Kendra) Van Slyke, Kylie Formanek, and Joseph “JJ” Formanek, and Todd (Renee) Every of Suamico, WI and their children Valerie and Gabrielle Every, three great-grandchildren, Cole, Will and Allie Van Slyke, three brothers, Arnie (Mary) Remus, Ron (Sue) Remus, Donald “Doc” (Patty) Remus, five sisters, Violet Terpstra, Elanor Glennie, Rose Olson, Shirlie Blackwell, and Judy Gilbertson, brothers and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Every, Avis Czechowicz, Gerald (Betty) Every, and Marilyn (Don) Bott, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnie in 2004, two sisters, Verna Tadder and Edith Dutcher, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton Every, Arlie Pfaff, Frank Czechowicz, and Sharon Every.
