Janet Kay Hall

Janet Kay Hall was born in Madison, WI on February 22, 1947 to Mary (Jones) and Harold Hall Jr.

She had many fond memories of growing up on farms in rural Wisconsin. She married and then worked at many local restaurants. At one time, she was a member of the Moose Lodge in La Crosse. She loved anything chocolate. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, classic country, and gospel music. Christmas romantic comedies were her favorite thing to watch; there was always a little bit of holiday magic in her home. She was always victorious in video game competition against her grandchildren playing Nintendo games. She was a firm believer that Jesus Christ died for her sins, and her deep faith saw her through many adversities. Today, His kingdom is brighter for her promotion, but the world dimmed for those lucky enough to know her in this life.

Janet is survived by: her daughters Jeannie (Brian) Greeno, Tammy (Scott) Bailey, and her grandchildren Josh Greeno, Alyssa Bailey, and Austin Bailey. She is also survived by: her sister Judy (Larry) Brown, brother Richard (Sandra) Hall, her sister-in-law Cheryl Zenk and her brother-in-law Ruben (Rita) Lemke, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, and bonus daughter Michelle Tilson. She experienced the blessing of wonderful friends and dedicated caregivers who will miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael Hall, sister-in-law Joyce Lemke, a great nephew, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Janet could smile through the tribulations of life. Her soul held rare selfless kindness that will be missed. She left an indelible memory that is cherished by many.

Her commemoration of life will be held at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave S., La Crosse on Saturday, October 21. 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M.
