Jane D. Deichelbohrer

July 5, 1938 — December 31, 2022

Jane passed on 12/31/2022. She was born on 7/5/1938 to Carl and Marion Deichelbohrer. She always said she was a firecracker but missed the fireworks by one day.

Jane attended school at the Halfway Creek one room schoolhouse until 8 th grade. This was quite an accomplishment for her and her learning disability. She always told her great nieces and nephews to study hard because she got all A's and B's.

Jane enjoyed riding her bike back in the day, getting her hair done, playing bingo, coloring, watching TV, and taming any cat that no one else could get near. She had a gift with animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John (Mary Lou) Deichelbohrer, and sister Mary (James) Miller.

She will be dearly missed by her niece who was her guardian for several years, Karla (Peter)Toppen. She was very proud to be a great Aunt to Allen Luce , Marcus (Leah) Toppen, Alexis (Kyle) Finnell, Tanner (Whitney) Toppen , and Abigail (Colton Gates) Toppen . And was also more proud to be a great, great Aunt to Charlie, Thorin , Ezekiel, Berkley, and Bear. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and her stuffed cat Penny who she adored.

The family would like to thank Bethany Riverside Transitional Care for their exceptional care of Jane. Also thank you to Dr. Bassing and Dr Coyne for your compassion and understanding Jane.

A private burial was attended by the family.
