James S. Wooden

 James S. Wooden, 68, of La Crosse, died on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born on October 20, 1955 in La Crosse to Donald and Lois (Techmer) Wooden. Jim graduated from West Salem High School. He had worked for many years at D-Lux Screen Printing and retired from Bernie’s Equipment. Jim also loved gardening.

 Jim is survived by his partner, Vern Conrad, three brothers, Michael (Wendy), David (Sue), and Jason (Ashley), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 A Memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of Onalaska, 907 Sand Lake Road.
