Helen O'Sullivan

Helen Barbara O’Sullivan, 88, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 1, 1929, to William and Gertrude (Selkowitz) Zerillo. She married Peter O’Sullivan on August 27, 1955, in Brooklyn. They later made La Crosse their home in 1975. Peter preceded Helen in death on June 29, 2003.

Helen is survived by her children, Kathleen O’Sullivan (Ralph DeClute) of La Crosse and Peter (Laura) O’Sullivan of Glenshaw, Penn.; grandchildren, Brian O’Sullivan of Kent, Ohio, and Megan (Michael) Perri of Canonsburg, Penn.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 9 ^th , at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse. Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Entombment will take place in the St. Joseph Mausoleum in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
