Harold “Dewey” Stinson Jr.

Mr. Fix-it finished his honey do list today, May 29th 2021. He was surrounded by his wife and loving family. He has gone ahead to make sure everything is in proper working order when we meet again. He is survived by his Wife of 71 years Marjorie K Stinson (Marshall). His daughters Vickie Yeiter (Dennis), and Susan Stellick (Gus). Grandchildren, Scott Yeiter (Sarah), Michael Yeiter (Rhonda), Jeff Stellick, Ryan Stellick (Jess). Great-grandchildren, Tristina (Scott), Anna (Victoria), Emily, Alex, Gavin, and Trenton. Great-Great-Grandchildren, Izellah (Izzy), Ava, Daxton (Dax), Rosemary, and Zayveon (Zay). Sister-in-law, Lorraine Hammes (Don). Brother-in-law, Larry Marshall (Mary). And his special friend Tom Curtis. Together with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mary Stinson, Sisters Maxine King, and Carol Devine and brother Richard Stinson. In-laws Lorris and Emily Marshall, son-in-law Jerry Stellick, brothers-in-law Roger Devine, and Loren Marshall, sisters-in-law Donna Stinson and Carol Marshall, and nephew Christopher Devine.

Harold was proud of the 42 years he spent working as a Welder at Trane Company. He was a proud member of Union Lodge 21 and the Trane Company 25-year Club. He was a self-taught man of many talents. Auto repair, rebuilding complete cars, woodworking, raising mini horses, and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were just a few of his many talents.

Harold’s family would like to thank Dr. Mark Brumm and the La Crosse Mayo Hospice Team, especially Heather. Our family would also like to thank Bonnie Paulson for all her caring help and compassion.

A private family memorial gathering will be held.
