George R. Kaczorowski

George Kaczorowski passed away on September 17, 2024, at home from dementia with complications. He was born on September 6, 1951, to Marion and Dorthy Kaczorowski (McGill) in Winona, MN. George graduated from Central High School and Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 3, 1971. George married Judith Berry on November 27, 1971. They had one son, Luke, who was born in 1981.

George always liked to be outside enjoying the beauty of the area. He loved to fish, hunt, and golf. George also enjoyed being on his boat. He could be found on the ski slopes, tennis courts, and taking an outdoor adventure.

Throughout his married life, George ran two businesses, Sunray Cleaning and Quantum Accounting.

George found great joy in volunteering his time in a Bible education work with his wife. He appreciated having true friends in the congregation. Even while confined to his bed, he would take opportunities to talk about the Bible to those who cared for him.

George was known as a fun-loving person who was quick-witted. He would always have some sort of smart response to you if you made a joke.

George is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Mike, and two sisters Sharon and Mary Jo.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy, son Luke (Jillian), and three grandchildren Eden, Cecily, and Miles.

The family wants to give thanks to the care George received over the years. Quality Comfort Care (Marcia, Teresa, Marie, and Kim), Bonnie Paulson, Tracy Ragsdale, and Alexa the music therapist were all known for giving excellent, compassionate care to George.

A visitation will be held at 6pm on September 27 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1900 Bainbridge St, La Crosse, WI. The funeral service will begin at 6:30pm. Light refreshments will immediately follow the service.
