Fulton C. Sauppe

September 24, 2023 — September 30, 2023

Fulton Cosmas Sauppe was born in Rochester, MN on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and was born into eternal life in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 30. His parents and younger twin brother Thomas were with him at this time.

His short life was marked by great strength; he survived 73 days in utero after the rupture of his amniotic sac, and his five days on earth involved struggling against the challenges associated with premature birth at 27 weeks gestational age along with a very bad infection. But he also had the opportunity to meet and bring immense joy to his parents, siblings, and grandparents during his time with us, including spending several blessed hours in his parents' arms.

Fulton is survived by his parents, Jason and Allison, his older brothers Raymond, Simon, and Martin, his younger twin brother Thomas, his grandparents, Theodore and Janice Sauppe, and William and Louise Terrell, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman in La Crosse, WI at 10 AM on Thursday, October 12, with a visitation at 9 AM beforehand (also at the Cathedral).
