Eugene W. Niebeling

Eugene William Niebeling, 87, of La Crosse, passed away at his home on Monday, June 18, 2018. Gene was born to Carl and Irene (Fish) Niebeling on July 15, 1930 in La Crosse. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force.

During his working years, Gene worked for Moen Photo in La Crosse and Country Kitchens Franchises as an owner/operator. His hobbies included flying planes, boating and traveling.

Eugene is survived by his sister, Joan (Joe) Petrick of La Crescent, MN and by nieces, nephews and many friends. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Everett Niebeling.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 111 South Oak Street, La Crescent, MN. Pastor Kent Johnson will officiate and burial with military honors will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of service.
