Emily D. Bratager, 90, of La Crescent, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the La Crescent Health Care Center. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Wykoff, MN to Fred and Emma (Kohlmeyer) Eickhoff. She married Curt Bratager on June 24, 1950 in Wykoff. Emily enjoyed dancing, cooking, and coffee with family and friends.
She is survived by a son Mark (Linda) Bratager of La Crescent, a son-in-law Dewey (Kathy) Severson of La Crescent, six grandchildren, Chris “CJ” (Micki) Bratager, Vicki Severson, Sarah Severson, Angie (Matt) Meyer, Melissa (John) Schraedley, and Nathan Bratager, several great-grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Curt in 2002, a son James in 2004, a daughter Gloria Severson in 2010, a brother Charles Eickhoff and twin great grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, La Crescent. Pastor Mike Woods will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum, Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crescent on Sunday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.Service Schedule
