Ella Mae Humm

December 7, 1939 — June 13, 2020

Ella Mae Humm passed away peacefully due to heart failure on June 13, 2020 at the age of 80 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 7, 1939 in rural Hokah, Mn to William and Eunice (Fishel) Murray. She married LeRoy Humm on September 10, 1960 in La Crosse and together they had four children. Ella Mae was a stay at home mom and enjoyed raising her four children. She later worked at Midwest Security Insurance and retired in 1999. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends and playing cards with her card club for over 50 years. She also enjoyed baking and made the best chocolate chip cookies. After retirement she wintered in Texas with her husband for five years. In 2008 she suffered a stroke and was unable to continue to travel. She then enjoyed being at home reading and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Ella Mae was also an avid Packer fan and was the one cheering the loudest.
