Dorothy Barbara Voshart

Dorothy Barbara (Pellowski) Voshart, 95, of La Crescent, died April 26, 2019 at Springbrook Care Center. Dorothy was born February 9, 1924, in Winona to Vincent and Elizabeth Pellowski. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1942 and married Robert Voshart, May 15, 1948.

Dorothy is survived by 3 children, James (Judy) Voshart of La Crescent, Jan (Tom Skorupa) Voshart of Albuquerque, NM, and Jeffry Voshart of Holmen, WI; five grandchildren, Dr. Chris (Courtney) Doran, Ben (Suzie) Doran, Michael (Rachel) Doran, Steven Voshart, Dr. Tara Skorupa and 4 great grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, Noah, and Veronica Doran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Voshart, daughter Kathleen Doran, and her 3 brothers Mark, Dan and Phillip Pellowski.

Dorothy was the last of her generation in the Voshart and Pellowski families. Besides having been a secretary in the La Crescent HS library for many years, she enjoyed sewing, travel, family celebrations, and a rich spiritual life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1 ^st , 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Crucifixion, La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Croix Hospice or the Church of Crucifixion.
