Doris is preceded in death by parents; Wayne and Dorothy, husband; George, brother; Don, daughter; Carol and grandson; Christopher. Doris was born January 23, 1934 in Brooklyn, Iowa to Wayne and Dorothy (Lyman), the oldest of three children.
Doris treasured her time with family and friends and enjoyed the lifelong friendships she made through the Gills Coulee Homemakers, as well as her many years working at Lakeview Foods. The family would like to thank the staff at Mulder Health Care Facility for their kindness and wonderful care.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 4 th at the Presbyterian Church in West Salem. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Larry Olson will officiate. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse.
