Donald B. Koel

Donald B. Koel, age 61 of La Crosse passed away on Thursday March 17, 2022. He was born on February 4, 1961 to John and Arline (Koenig) Koel. He married Patricia (Tricia) Jacobson on June 27, 1987. Throughout the years Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping with the family, and any sporting events his kids were involved in. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, his daughter Emily and son Ryan. Sister Cindy (Robert) Langman of West Virginia, brother Bob (Val) Koel, of La Crosse,  sister-in- law Mary Kay (Thomas) Richert, and brother -in-law Jake Jacobson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers George and Mike Koel. Per Don’s wishes there will not be any services. “Remembering you is easy. I do it everyday. Missing you is heartache that never goes away.”
