Desiree Lynn Butterfield

Desiree Lynn Butterfield, of La Crosse passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Mayo Health Services in La Crosse after a battle with cancer.

She was born January 14, 1958 in La Crosse to Harold Kemp and Yvonne (Matl) Kemp/Putzke. She attended school at Harry Spence, Longfellow and Central in La Crosse. She married Gary Butterfield November 28 ^th , 1981. Her and Gary shared a love of the fur trade era and the rendezvous lifestyle that they instilled on the next two generations. She loved spending time with friends, family and nature. She had worked in photo finishing, several stores in the mall and as a contract cleaner.

Desi is survived by her husband Gary Butterfield, daughter Katrina Butterfield, step daughters Amy Butterfield ,Heather (Alan) Gooch and “extra” daughter Reina ComStock, brothers Randy(Martha) Kemp and James (Sheila) Kemp. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

There will be no public funeral services. She was loved by many and will be missed by many.
