Dentin’s biggest and most important accomplishment in life was his “baby girl” Alyvia. Their silly, fun relationship was evident every time you saw them together. Whether they were swinging, making duck faces, or cuddling you saw genuine happiness and joy plastered on their faces. His love and gentleness with her will remain in her heart forever.
Being with Dentin was precious time with a caring, forgiving and loving soul. There was never any judgement from him with people, however food was fair game as he was quite the food critic. His favorite delicacy of fries, pizza, and green bean casserole needed to be just right, or he would provide a detailed critique of how it should be improved.
Growing up you could find him at the ballpark or skatepark where he would spend hours perfecting his crafts and making many friendships that he held very dear. His passion for skateboarding followed him well past his graduation from Central in 2012 and he was excited to pass it on to Alyvia, joking that he was going to “Pad her up” and teach her to skateboard.
Dentin found new excitement and opportunities when he started working at Fun Fur Pets. He found solace working at night and sleeping among the dogs. He had a special connection with the four-legged clients and as dogs do, they appreciated Dentin for who he was and his gentle nature. It didn’t take him long to figure out that he had a special gift and became a trainer. He took great pride in this and helped many dogs, and their humans live in harmony.
Since Dentin’s birth on February 22, 1995, he has touched so many lives with his contagious laugh, his effortless humor, and his empathetic nature. His large, genuine smile shines bright on the face of his beautiful daughter.
Anyone who knew Dentin was quickly made aware of his special relationship with his “Grams” Benoit Antony. They had an unbreakable bond, and his family is comforted knowing that she, along with Grandpa Dick Antony, and Cousin Joe Clements welcomed him to his eternal home on August 24, 2022.
Dentins light will continue to shine through his sweet daughter, Alyvia Antony as well as his Dad, Jay (Tisha) Antony; Mother, Kristie Spinner; Sisters, Megan (Kate) Antony; Danielle (Nick) Laylan; Brothers, Derrick Johnson and Devin Antony; Grandparents, James (Kathleen) Spinner and Karen (Skip) Brinkman. He will be further missed by his nephews Jayden, Noah, Mason, Elliot, Evan, Eli, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
