Debra S. Boylan

Debra “Deb” S. Boylan, 61 of Onalaska, died at her home unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2017. She was born February 19, 1956 in Joliet, IL to Daniel and Olive (McDonald) Harrington and graduated from Minooka High School in Minooka, IL. She then attended Northern Illinois University.

Deb met James Boylan in LaSalle, IL and they were married May 8, 1982 in Morris, IL. The family moved to the La Crosse area in 1988 where Deb stayed home to raise their three daughters. She eventually returned to a career in the financial and banking industry and was currently employed at Seven Bridges Bank of Galesville in Holmen.

Deb enjoyed reading, crocheting, decorating and volleyball. Her greatest joy came from her family and she especially loved her time spent with her four grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, James of Onalaska, Deb is survived by three daughters; Meghan (Loren) Havemeier of Eau Claire, Shannon Boylan of La Crosse and Katelin (Brandon) Witte of Onalaska; four grandchildren, Camden and Piper Havemeier, Elliott Witte and Hudson Boylan; a brother, Thomas Harrington of Minooka, IL and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Judith Harrington and a sister-in-law, Linda Harrington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 9 th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Onalaska with Monsignor Steven Kachel officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
