Deborah R. Rash

Deborah R. Rash, 68, of La Crosse, passed away at Gundersen Health System on Thursday, April 22, 2021.  She was born in Great Lakes, IL on July 12, 1952 to Leonard and Doris (Naas) Rash.

Deborah was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.  She worked for Trane Company for 40+ years.  She enjoyed going to work and worked hard to solve any problems that she could for others.  Her motto at work was always "Can Do, Will Do, Happy Too".  She always wanted to be "undercover", whether it meant hiding from any and all cameras or shopping for the sole purpose of giving to others, not needing or wanting recognition for it.  Gambling and chocolate were also her passions.

Deborah is survived by her only daughter (former spouse, George Besl), Annie M. Besl (partner Chad Beeler and his son, Carter) of Bangor, WI; her pride and joy, her only grandson, Zaidyn M. Ostrem; along with a brother, Douglas (Gail) Rash of Waynesville, OH and a sister, Merry Rash of Wilton Manors, FL.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris M. Rash; father, Leonard Rash; step-father, G.J. Lanhart and two brothers; Patrick J Rash and Leonard "Jorn" Rash Jr.

A private family gathering to celebrate Debi's life will be held.  Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse is assisting the family.  The family encourages anyone to share their memories of Debi in the online guest book, available at www.schumacher-kish.com .
