Dawn M. Farrell, 68, received her angel wings on February 17, 2023, with her family by her side at her home in Houston, MN.
An amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, with the most inspiring and unwavering faith, was called home to her place in heaven. Born September 2nd, 1954, in La Crosse, WI to Alfred and Irene Walter, she grew up cherishing her family and did until her last breath. She married the love of her life and best friend, William Farrell Jr. Inseparable, they made every sacrifice a parent could to raise their two children, William III and Tiffany, with high expectations to be good and giving. She devoted 37 years of heart felt service to the patrons of Merchant’s bank never breaking her infectious smile. She was loved by the entire community for her endless positivity, highest integrity and selfless giving. Her boss and co-workers were some of her best life long friends she considered family. She loved to be together with her close extended family of cousins and their families, it brought her heartwarming joy and laughter. Her brothers and sisters took care of each other like no other family, their families where hers and vis versa. She, Cheryl and Pat were more than sisters, they were three parts of one heart, many couldn’t even tell them apart. She loved taking short trips with her husband and their closest friends, shopping with her sisters and granddaughters, throwing the best 4th of July parties in the country, the thrill of a jackpot, and especially watching her 3 beloved grandsons playing the game of hockey. Her bright smile, positive attitude and do good no matter what soul made all those who knew and loved her better. She asked for nothing but grace and happiness for everyone around her. She saw the best in everyone and encouraged the rest of us to do the same.
Dawn is survived by her sisters, Cheryl (Tom) Kloss and Pat (Andy) Anderson; her husband, William Farrell Jr.; her son William (April) Farrell III; her daughter Tiffany (Adam) Kimball; and her 5 grandchildren Liam Farrell, Cooper Carlson, Wyatt Farrell, Lydia Kimball and Stella Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Walter; her mother, Irene Walter; and her brothers, Ricky and Joey Walter.
