David John Veglahn

David John Veglahn, 74, of La Crescent, MN., died on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Gundersen Health System, La Crosse. He was born in La Crosse on January 13, 1949 to Burton and Evelyn (Zemlo) Veglahn.

On May 6, 1972, he married Jeanine Marie Isler. David was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local 434 for forty-two years.

David spent time fishing in his early retirement days. He owned a Piper Cherokee 140 airplane and enjoyed taking day trips with Jeanine. He loved to garden and was a musician at heart. He also enjoyed watching boxing and football.

David is survived by his wife, Jeanine; his children, Sara Veglahn, Dan (Nicole) Veglahn, grandchildren, John Veglahn and Katherine "Katie" Veglahn; and his brother, Burton "Bud" Veglahn.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 P.M. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crescent chapel; 111 S. Oak St.
