David J. Strasser

David J. Strasser, 68, of La Crosse, WI passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, with his family by his side. He was born on June 4, 1954 in La Crosse to Nicholas and Lucy (Semke) Strasser.

David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret, stepson Chad (Jean) Powell, sons Nathan Strasser of La Crosse, Cody (Allison) Strasser of Onalaska, step grandson Chance Powell. David is further survived by his siblings Pat (David) Bakken, Kathryn (Richard) Schmitt, Betty (Gary) Bakken, Jeanette Faas, Nick (Cindy) Strasser and Rosemarie (Mike) Bohnert, brothers-in-law Jerry (Linda) Powell, Richard Powell and Thomas Powell,  along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Mike Faas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1333 S. 13 ^th Street. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
