David G. Olson

David Glen Olson age 71, died on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. He was born to Theresa and Glen Olson on July 21st, 1953. He graduated from Onalaska High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War. He also served in North Carolina. David earned a college degree from La Crosse State, now known as University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. After getting his degree, he worked in the food services and retail business. He retired from Reinhart Food Service after 25 years. David is survived by his best friend in life, Susan Guenther Webb, his children, Amanda Moore, Jenna Olson, and Jerred Olson, Travis and Tara Webb, his grandchildren, Mason, Alijah, and Emery Vang, Paxton and Scarlett Moore, Nathan and Lucas Webb, his sister, Deb (Denny) Pierce, his brother, Dan (Louise) Olson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and father. 

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1-3 PM at Schumacher – Kish Funeral Home, 111 S. Oak St., La Crescent. Military honors will follow outside the funeral home. Burial will be held in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park at a later date.
