Daniel T. Holter

Daniel T. Holter, 65, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

He was born November 4, 1956, in La Crosse, WI to Oscar T. And Sylvia (Dopson) Holter.  He graduated from Parkview High School in Orfordville, WI in 1975.  Dan attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa from 1976-1978 where he earned an Associate of Arts degree.

Dan had a wonderful singing voice and enjoyed singing in the choir at Waldorf, being asked to be the soloist at many local weddings/functions and being the lead male singer of the singing group “The Christ Crusaders” originating from Utica Lutheran Church located in the Mount Sterling, WI area.

Dan worked for many years in the Hospitality industry for Starwood Hotels at the Milwaukee West Marriott location.

Dan is survived by three brothers:  Timothy (David Harvey) of Honolulu, HI; Stephen (Kerri) of Winter Garden, FL, and their children, Emma and Jacob; and David (Dolores) whereabouts unknown.

Though no Memorial services are planned at this time, a future private family interment will be held at Lewis Valley Lutheran Cemetery in rural Holmen, WI.
