Dan R. Harris

Dan R. Harris, 70 of La Crosse, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem. He was born March 30, 1949 in La Crosse to Raymond and Beverly (Huxsahl) Harris.

Dan enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17 and served for 6 ½ years until being honorably discharged. On May 4, 1972 he married Pam Gage in La Crosse. Dan was a diligent hard worker. He loved to spend time with his family, especially taking the grand children and great-grandchildren for road trips.

In addition to his wife Pam, he is survived by three children; Fawn (Ken) Tyler of Sparta, Kelly Harris of La Crosse and Rang (Khenn) Nguyen of Denver; nine grandchildren, Scott, Brandon, Japhrey, Christopher, Billy, Kailyn, Kellen, Steven and Kevin; five great-grandchildren, Anna, Ariel, Aurora, Tessa and Lucas; three brothers, Raymond (Margie) Harris of Holmen, Robert (Lydia) Harris of Texas and Charles Harris of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Genevieve Veglahn.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the 28 ^th Street Church of Christ, 3506 28 ^th Street South, La Crosse.
