Dale R. Webber

Dale R. Webber, 66, of La Crescent, MN, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

He was born in Winona, MN, on August 13, 1956, to Robert and Lois (Hoiseth) Webber and grew up in Rushford, MN. He married Marcia Plate in Winona on May 25, 1985.

Dale had a Bachelor degree in history and paralegal and an associates degree in Practical Nursing.

He also worked with his father at Kleinschmidt and Webber and most recently Davy Engineering.

His wife Marcia would often quote “That still they gazed and still the wonder grew that one small head could carry all he knew”.

Dale loved to learn and read. He enjoyed collecting vintage Coke memorabilia and watching the History Channel but most of all he loved his family dearly. He also loved his dog Brooklyn and would always say, “Are you daddy’s little girl?”

In addition to his wife Marcia of La Crescent, he is survived by his daughter Mary Webber of La Crescent, one son Kris (Jessica) Webber of Sun Prairie, WI, one sister Ann (Matt) Webber Newell of Byron, MN, three nieces Valeri (Jesse) Bilderback, Hallie and Delanie Newell and one nephew Lance Niemi. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church in La Crescent. Pastor Anna Sorenson will officiate. Private family burial will take place at a later date in Prince Of Peace Cemetery, La Crescent. Friends may call on the family Friday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
