Dale L. Reinhart

December 14, 1931 — May 27, 2021

Dale Reinhart, 89, of La Crosse was called to his heavenly home Thursday, May 27, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Franciscan Healthcare, La Crosse. He was born December 14, 1931 to John Reinhart and Susie Boesen in Wessington Springs South Dakota. His family moved to Minnesota when he was 3 years old where the family began farming in Brownsville.

Dale met the love of his life Priscilla Kletzke and they were married on November 20, 1951. He also began working at the Catholic Cemetery of La Crosse in 1951. The family moved to La Crosse in 1971 when Dale was named Catholic Cemetery Superintendent, a position he proudly held until 1995 when he retired.   Dale was a very devoted Catholic and his faith was present in all aspects of his life. Dale loved to spend time with family. We remember fondly his talent and passion for woodworking, competitive family card games and was happiest when surrounded by loved ones enjoying a meal. His quick wit, generosity, stories, and memories will live on in the hearts of his friends and family for many, many years to come. He was a loving, strong, caring, hard-working, giving father who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. In Christ's name and through his love, Dale is now in the presence of God's love.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 69 years Priscilla, children Darlene Kerska (Fred), John Reinhart (Debbie), Jeff Reinhart (Sandy), and Diane Frick (Greg) all of La Crosse, Mike Reinhart (Carol) of Dallas, his sister Elaine Gavin (Lawrence) of Caledonia and sister in-law Joanne (Gail) Kletzke of Brownsville. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents John and Susie Reinhart; his brother Raymond Reinhart, sister and her husband Patricia (Joe) Spinner, infant sister Elizabeth Reinhart, his in-laws Edward and Anna Kletzke, his son in-law Fred Kerska, brothers in-law and sisters in-law Lawrence Gavin, Vivian (John) Theobald, Bob (Betty) Kletzke, Mildred (Vernon) Fitzpatrick, Edward Jr. (Betty) Kletzke, Karine Hanson, and Gail Kletzke
