Cynthia L. Carlson

Cynthia L. Carlson, 89, died peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Hillview Health Care Center. She was born on March 12, 1929 in La Crosse to Eric and Selma (Stueve) Frick. Cynthia married Floyd S. Carlson in June of 1950 at First Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse. He preceded her in death in September of 2001. Cynthia loved being with and taking care of her family. She spent many years working as a head cook in the La Crosse School System. She enjoyed gardening, being on the river, volunteering in her church, and watching the Packers and Brewers. She was able to travel to many areas of the country with her family, including Hawaii.

She is survived by a daughter Linda of La Crosse, sons Keith (Lisa) and Tim (Elizabeth) of La Crosse, and a daughter Tinamarie (Paul) Rasmussen of Eagan, MN, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Hillview for their wonderful kindness and wonderful care of Cyndi. Memorials may be given to First Ev. Lutheran Church of La Crosse.
