Cody James Heilman, 44, of La Crosse, WI went to be with his mother and father in Heaven on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Cody was the most selfless person you could ever meet. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was an amazing cook and loved to fix everyone’s favorite foods. He loved the outdoors; fishing and hunting were passions he pursued his entire life. Cody could fix anything and often helped others fix their cars just because he wanted to help. He loved to smile and joke around. When he put his attention on you, he made you feel special. He had a heart of gold. Cody’s whole world was his children. He loved them so very much. He was the kind of father that would sit for hours watching Phineas and Ferb with Carly, or cheering Ray on in football and other sports, or talking and joking with Cayla for hours on end. Their passions and happiness were his passions and happiness. He was proud of their continued accomplishments. He will forever watch over them as their guardian angel. Until we meet again…he will forever be in our hearts and minds. We love you so much.
Cody is survived by his daughters Cayla and Carly, son Raymond, sister Sherri Habben, nephew Austin Risch, niece Sydney Risch and life-long best friend, Jamie Malady.
