Constance L. Everson

It comes with great sadness that the family of Connie Everson announces her passing on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Constance Leeann Fredrickson was born on March 7, 1933 in rural Viroqua, WI to Donald and Arvella (Larson) Fredrickson. On May 3, 1959 she married Carl J. Everson.

Connie was very proud of her Norwegian heritage and was admired for her tireless work ethic, even walking to work at the local nursing home each day until her retirement at the age of 80.

Connie is survived by her husband of 65 years Carl, her daughters Cari Poellinger and Carol (Jeff) Fearnow. She was also the grandmother to Alison (Eric) Petersen, John Elliot Poellinger, Mitchell (Leslie) Poellinger, Chad (Kella) Fearnow and Steve Fearnow as well as her great grandchildren Kiley Poellinger, Ty and Avery Petersen, Max Poellinger, Brady, Lela and Madelyn Fearnow, brother-in-law George Krupp, son-in-law John Poellinger along with many nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Patty Zitzner, Corrine Zabel and Dawn ‘Ida’ Krupp.

Connie will be dearly missed, but she has left us with wonderful memories of a life well lived. We will forever remember her many quotes, stories and the lifetime of gifts that she has given to us. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Wieser Pavilion, 1817 County Road 6, La Crescent, Minnesota.
