Connie Carol Walling

Connie C. Walling, 73, of La Crescent, died on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the La Crescent Health Services. She was born on May 27, 1945 in La Crosse to Ralph and Mildred (Boettcher) Moldenhauer. Connie graduated from Central High School and had worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses. She married Larry Hafner in 1964 and they later divorced. She married Lloyd Walling in 1990. Connie enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint. She loved spending time with her family and had an unfailing, cheerful disposition.

She is survived by three children, Lorie (Tony) Oldenburg, Randy (Natalie) Hafner, and Brian (Shelley) Hafner, nine grandchildren, Nic (Tiffany) Oldenburg, Tina McGuire, Tyler (Ashley) Oldenburg, Brittany Oldenburg, Cory (Allison) Campbell, Nate Hafner, Marina (fiance’ Brandon) Hafner, Adam Hafner, and Haley (Luke) Inglett, ten great-grandchildren, several stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and extended family, three brothers, Larry Moldenhauer, Keith (Kathy) Moldenhauer, and Kent (Karen) Moldenhauer, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lloyd.
