Connie J. Hammond

Connie J. Hammond, 90, of La Crosse, WI and formerly of Kalispell, MT, died on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Benedictine Manor, La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on January 27, 1930 to Royal and Thelma (Lau) Fox.   She was a graduate of Central High School in La Crosse.

She married Bill Esterle and together they had a daughter Debra and a son Steve. They later divorced.

In 1969 she married Bob Hammond of Montana and together they had one son James. James is now married to Veronica. They lived in Kalispell until Bob’s death in 1992. Connie was active in the Moose Lodge both in Kalispell and La Crosse.

There will be no services in La Crosse. Services will be held in Kalispell MT. Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
