Clarice A. Mueller, 82, of La Crossed, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born to Walter and Lydia Robarge in Cameron, WI on September 19, 1935. Clarice married Thomas F. Mueller on May 10, 1958. They had three children, Jay, Zandria, and Trink. She had worked at the State Bank of La Crosse, Western Wisconsin Technical Institute, and Viterbo as a food service worker. She was a loving mother to her family and all her kid’s friends. Clarice was a fabulous cook and baker, no one walked away hungry! She spent time as a Girl Scout Leader which she enjoyed. Crafts were her favorite thing to do as she loved decorating for every holiday. Her hidden talent was writing stories and poems. In the past years she lived at Bethany St. Joseph Rehab Center and called it home as she loved all the staff that helped her in many ways. To them she was known as the puzzle lady, if you wanted to know where Clarice was all you had to do is find her at the puzzle table which I think she claimed as her space. The staff knew she was well aware of all her cares and could be very firm at times, but mostly had a great sense of humor and enjoyed all her conversations with them. She was blessed to have such great care! Finally, her pride and joy were her three grandchildren, Joshua, Stefanie, and Kelly, and grandson-in-law Joshua Sackmaster. She enjoyed all their visits with great conversations, walks, and bringing yummy food to snack on.
She is survived by two children, Jay Mueller and Trink (Mike) Copsey, three grandchildren, Joshua Mueller, Stefanie Mueller, and Kelly (Joshua) Sackmaster. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, her husband Thomas Mueller and her daughter Zandria Van Ness.
