Christopher Ryan Spande

Christopher Ryan Spande, age 45, unexpectedly passed away October 8 ^th , 2021, at UW Health in Madison, WI.

Chris is survived by his father, Albert Spande; mother, Susan Spande (Becker); sister, Heather Breuer (Spande), her husband, Brian Breuer, and their children, Jonah, Jake, and Ellie. He was predeceased by his beloved dog and best friend, Gingie.

Chris was born March 31 ^st , 1976, at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse. Chris loved life and found enjoyment spending time with family, listening to music, playing guitar, loving on animals, and being out in nature. Chris had many hardships in life and fought many battles with alcohol addiction, but those close to him knew him to have a kind and gentle soul who would go out of his way to help those in need.

The family is going to hold a private funeral service and plan to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family requests you remember Chris for who he was; kind, gentle, tenderhearted, with a willingness to help anyone in need and in lieu of flowers to please do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for somebody in need. Chris is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
