Carol L. Juel

Carol Lee Juel, 87, of Stoddard, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in her home. She was born on December 25, 1937 in La Crosse, WI to Roy and Irene (Arntsen) Morehouse. Before retirement Carol worked for 20 years as a receptionist for a law firm in Davenport, Iowa. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

Carol enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, crafting, baking, cooking, the outdoors, especially camping & boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was also an avid animal lover. 

She is survived by her husband Marshall, her children Randy (Willa) Juel, Robin (James) Miller and Richard Juel; a brother Rev. Terry (Joan) Morehouse and a sister Kathleen (Ward) Stone; grandchildren Scott, Brian (Stephanie), Mariah and Molly; great grandchildren Caleb, Haylee, Freya, Sunny, Obie and Greenlee. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4141 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse. Rev. Harald Bringsjord will officiate. Burial will follow in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service.
