Carol Marie Harvey

Carol Marie (Byers) Harvey, 73, of Spring Grove, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, with her family by her side.

Carol was born August 12, 1948, In Prairie Du Chein, WI to Loren and Dorothy (Shulka) Byers. Carol grew up with her siblings on the family farm near Eastman, WI. She graduated from Prairie Du Chein High School, Class of 1966.

Carol married Alan Harvey on April 29, 2000, and cared for him until his passing on September 29, 2017.

Carol was born with a nurturing and giving soul. Her smile was infectious, and her heart was made of gold. She loved nature, her flowers, watching the clouds, long car rides that involved looking for deer and watching the sunset. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her “bestest”daughter, Rinda Connelly of Spring Grove, MN. Grandsons Cody Connelly of LaCrosse, WI and Chris Connelly (Payton Bergey) of Mason City, IA. Granddaughter, Nikki Hagen (Matt Rediske) of Spring Grove, MN. Great Grandchildren Jaidyn and Elliace. Brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Byers of Whitewater, WI and Ken (Sharon) Byers of McGregor, IA. “Bestest” sisters, Marion (Hickory) Byers (Ron Finley) of Gays Mills, WI, Theresa (Squeak)Allen of Rock Falls, IL and Laurie (Bean) Wille of Prairie Du Chein, WI. Mother-in-law, Ruth Harvey of Hurley, WI and brother-in-law, Steve Harvey of Wakefield, MI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, Loren and Dorothy Byers, Grandparents, William and Francis Byers and Herman and Bessie Shulka. Husband, Alan Harvey, father-in-law, Maitlan Harvey, brother in laws, Ray Allen and Paul Harvey. Sister-in-law, Ronnie Harvey. Aunts Rosie Stram, Mary Lou Shawley, and Marcy Nussbaum. Nephew, Troy (Homer) Byers. Cousin Linda Zabel and special pet Lil’ Kitty.
