Carol C. Becker

Carol C. Becker passed away peacefully, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, with her family by her side. Carol was born on September 11, 1949, to Delmar and Marie (Jorgenson) Harris in La Crosse, WI. Carol was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. She went on to work at Century Telephone in September of 1969. Carol was blessed with her son Anthony Christoph. She then married the love of her life, Joe Becker on March 8, 1980, and together they raised four children: Tom, Jerry, Chris Becker, and Tony Christoph. If Carol wasn’t cooking or baking, which she loved, you would find her and Joe up north in Hayward or The Moose Lodge enjoying family and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband, Joe Becker; children, Anthony (Michelle) Christoph, Tom (Kelly) Becker, Jerry Becker, and Chris (Mike) Bakalars; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four brothers, Rich Harris, Rob (Ann) Harris, John (Sue) Harris, and Tom (Liz) Harris; and two sisters, Sue Jahimiak and Peggy (Rick) Vaughan.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Marie; sister, Kathy Harris; and brother-in-law, Steve Jahimiak.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse, WI 54601. A private burial will be held at Pine Creek Cemetery in La Crescent, MN.
