Beverly Schultz

Beverly J. Schultz, 95, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Bethany-St. Joseph Care Center in La Crosse.

Beverly was born on June 6, 1922, in Hokah, Minn., to Archie and Elsie (Parmenter) Meinzer. She married Leonard Schultz on February 26, 1946, in La Crosse. She and Leonard farmed on St. Joseph Ridge their entire married life. Beverly also worked as a cook at Schmidty’s Restaurant in La Crosse for many years.

Beverly loved to travel and was a wonderful homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Schweke of La Crosse; a son, Ralph Schultz of La Crosse; a granddaughter, Lisa (Tom) Miller of La Crosse; great grandchildren, Erin, Tyler, Riley and Ellie Miller and Addison Schweke; sisters-in-law, Rosella Roesler, Rosetta Heinze, and Delores (Arlin) Manske; and other extended family members. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Scott Schweke; a son-in-law, Philipp Schweke; and her siblings, Glen Meinzer and Arlene Renner.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11 ^th , at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. So., La Crosse. Pastor Richard Pamperin will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to First Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse or to the charity of the donor’s choice in Beverly’s memory.
